Restoration Studio
Aloha,
There is no doubt that some of the greatest equipment in the world has already been built many years ago. Just look at some of the collectors of old ALTEC and KLIPSCH speakers. All of those wonderful horns and beautiful folded cabinets. The wonderful sounds of the first acoustic suspended speakers. The rumble of a set of ARIELS. The memories had from the day you brought home those MAGGIE for the first time and had tingles run up your spine.
For many of us, no high tech aluminum monster or carbon fiber driver will replace that sound. A sound that we have grown to know and love more than any newcomer could possibly replace. It is for these lovers of the classics that we offer the Restoration Studio.
We are happy to breathe new life into those beloved pieces of audio art for you. From refinishing cabinets to rebuilding the crossovers, we love this work. In this day and age, there is no reason those sounds from your past can’t have a second chance to rock your socks off again. But, why would a designer of new state of the art systems do this? I myself am a lover of the classics. I would never have been in this business had it not been for a dear old friend introducing me to the world of HI-END through a pair of DBX Sound Fields. I still remember them fondly. Then, Bjorn Dybdahl of Bjorn’s Audio Video, introducing me to my first pair of Klipsch Heresy’s. I had never heard anything so powerful coming from such a small box. I bought them on the spot and owned them for 20 years. I still own the last pair of Cornwalls built by PWK and the 3 other pairs of surrounds he built to match them for a grand theater system.
When you’re ready, let us know. We can do it!

Aeriel 10T, Koa and Lacquer
This Aeriel 10T system was completely restored and refinished. The system was finished with book matched Koa from the big island of Hawaii and finished in a 12 layer, hand polished lacquer finish. Stunning to see and hear to say the least.
